Dear parents and players,

             Welcome to the 2008 baseball, softball, and T-ball season.  We are looking forward to warmer weather and an exciting (hopefully dry!) season.  Merion Golf/ Merwood Athletic Association is a non-profit organization, a volunteer organization that needs everyone’s help to be successful.  We stress the FUNdamentals of the sport, everyone plays and all children are welcome.

             During the 2008 season several changes will be apparent:  

Our  web pages are up and running some pages are not available at this time but will be up before the season starts.

  We expect to play all divisions at both Paddock Park and Merwood.  No division will be exclusively at either field.  

            Our board has several old members and a few new ones. We are in need of a few more:

We are requesting an E-mail address for each player registered.  We will make every attempt to communicate through this method for game cancellations and general team information.  This should provide speedy and consistent information delivery.

No registration application will be considered until a completed health form is submitted to the League.   Once your application has been accepted you and your child will be required to sign a code of conduct.

The team pictures will be taken date to be anounced. All teams should plan to attend. Times for team pictures will be announced soon.  

Opening Ceremonies will be conducted on March 29, 2008 at Paddock Park and Merwood. Parade to start at 10:00 am from Merwood followed by activities at paddock park. We hope to make this a great event.
